Mark Allen
is a Managing Director and advisor to DC Investment Partners. Mark is also head of DC Investments Management, a proprietary hedge fund that uses a combination of fundamental and quantitative analysis to trade equities, bonds, futures and other derivative instruments.
Mark started his career in 1995 as a senior scientist and project manager at SciTec, a subsidiary of TRW in Princeton, NJ. There, he oversaw the company’s largest product development effort and was credited with expanding the company’s field measurement offerings by 30%.
Mark joined Dean & Company in 1998, ultimately becoming a Vice President of the consulting firm. His work included developing a CRM growth strategy for one of the largest financial services companies in the United States, developing and implementing and billion dollar cost reduction program for a major telecommunications company, and assisting a privately-owned software company define and implement a new growth strategy.
Mark holds Ph.D. and Masters degrees in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University and a BS degree from Union College. He is the recipient of four Excellence in Teaching commendations from Princeton University, has authored 7 journal publications, and holds a United States patent.
